About the Author: Peter Saverine was born and raised in Darien, CT and has lived in Fairfield County with his wife and four children for most of his life. He is a graduate of Amherst College with a BA in Political Science and has spent his career in retail merchandising, marketing, and entrepreneurial ventures. He is a landscape painter, with works represented in gallery locations on Nantucket and along the East Coast. Peter authors a newspaper column and Jenny’s Pennies is his first book.
About the Illustrator: Bobbi Eggers, in her first life as Bobbi John, was an executive creative director in advertising. She worked on national ad campaigns for Coca-Cola, Miller Beer, British Airways, P&G, Revlon and Clairol in NYC, London, Amsterdam and Paris. Bobbi is now a happily married mother of 3 and writes and illustrates for magazines and newspapers, as well as a line of gift products called “SportsMom” and “Chardonnay Girls.” Bobbi and her growing family have been vacationing in Nantucket for nearly 20 years and long for it during the winters.
